We started the distribution of food materials for families affected by Covid-19. We gathered information from the parishes and local administration about the families, who are badly in need of support and help. These families live in quarantine. Hence we spoke to them keeping social distance. We had a short chat with them enquiring about their struggles. Many families are in quarantine for weeks, since one after another becomes sick. Quarantine is also an isolating experience. Most of them are also very poor and the current situation makes it all the more difficult. In addition, these days there is heavy rain in Kerala. Rainy season in general is traditionally a time of famine. It was raining heavily as we visited the families today. On behalf of all the people who receive these helps, we gratefully remember all those who make it possible.
