Youth Camp in Austria
Fr Sahaya Kumar who accompanied the youth camp in Austria writes:
This was the Schoenstatt Boys Youth camp for the Federal State of Steiermark. The camp took place on 1200 m heights. The topic of the camp was „Robin Hood “. Matthias Ebner and Christoph King were the camp leaders. We had seven groups of boys.
Each morning, one of us presented a theme. Subsequently, there was discussion and group work. The possibility for different games and plays existed in the afternoon.
There was also competition between different groups. As it belongs to the camp, we sat evenings around the campfire and heard of Robin Hood.
I offered the Holy Mass every day. A very good number of boys attended the Mass.
In the end of the camp, fourteen boys sealed the covenant of love of different levels.
We had experienced much fun and a genuine community with one another.
