Popular Associate Pastor flew away

Fr John Peter, who lived in Germany for more than five years, has recently returned to India. A short photo feature about his farewell appeared in the diocesan newspaper "Glaube und Leben" of the Diocese Mainz: The members of St. Joseph Church at Neu-Isenburg prepared a cordial farewell to their popular Associate Pastor, John Peter Savarimuthu, in the Frankfurt airport. Fr John Peter was active since September 2005 at Neu-Isenburg and has now returned to his Indian homeland. Savarimuthu wanted to become a priest since he was a child, “I loved the Mother of God very gladly and wanted therefore a Marian community,” justified his decision to become a Schoenstatt Father. Pastor Heribert Kronenberger thanked him for his service and stressed, “I will miss him much, not only as the Associate Pastor, but also as a cordial confrere.”
