Blessing of the Sunrise Children’s Village
The blessing and inauguration of our Sunrise Children’s Village at Tirunelveli made a new way for the Schoenstatt Fathers community to make their apostolate in India more fruitful. There was a solemn function at Tirunelvel on 12th March 2008. Most Rev Dr Jude Paulraj, Bishop of Palayamkottai has presided over the liturgical ceremony. Mr Dennis, USA who has contributed to build up and support our Children’s Village was present in the whole function. He inaugurated the new building of Sunrise Village in the presence of the District Sub-collector. There was a felicitation meeting after the Blessing. In the public meeting our “golden stars”, as our delegation superior named our twenty eight children, made their active presence through different cultural programs.
