Jogging with the Lord

On 11th of October we had a lively Youth Meet '09 in Kevin compound. The Theme of the Meet was "Jogging with the Lord". There were about 100 young men and women from different Parishes, who eagerly participated in this meeting.

The Programm of the day was solemnly inagurated with the indian classical dance (Barathanatyam).

Fr. Andrew Pastore welcomed the Youth and spoke about the importance of Spiritual Life. Bro. Priyadharson introduced two spiritual tools of schoenstatt spirituality, i.e. Daily Spiritual Order (SDO) and Particular Examination (PE). The afternoon-session started with the group disscusion and presentation.

Party games and cultural programms made the day more colourful.

At the end there was a spirit - filled Adoration, conducted by Fr. Unkel.

We got a positive reponse from the participants.

As a result of this Youth Meet, some of the young participants brought their whole family for our Oct. 18th Covenant Feast.

The programm was organised by Bros. Antony and Peter Leonard with the guidance of Fr. Andrew Pastore. We pray confidently to our Blessed Mother, that she draws more young hearts to the shrine,our Home. Thanks a lot for all those who contributed for the success of this Youth Meet.
