The Schoenstatt Fathers’ community of India sent Praise, Priyadarshon and Xavier for their theological studies at our international college in Munich. They completed their formation until novitiate in India.
This is an excerpt from their sharing in the “Sion India”, a newsletter of Indian Community.
“For six months we have been in Germany. The first week we spent in Schoenstatt, visiting all the important places around. We had an opportunity to attend a Sunday Mass in the original shrine. In the midst of newness we felt at home in this shrine.
Our Theology House in Munich is a new beginning and is called “Junger Sion” (“Young Sion”). It is relatively a small community with brothers from three countries - 3 Indians, 3 Germans and 1 Czech.
To improve our German language and to get registered to study in the University of Munich, we are still having German courses. Along with the learning of German language we have an international experience with the students learning German with us.
It was a new experience for us to celebrate Easter with a youth group, who came from different parts of Germany. We cooked Indian food for all the people who were present for this celebration.
At present we are going further with our German courses and preparing to join in the University in the winter semester.”
