Priest – Face of Christ Reality

The theology students in Kentenich Vidyaniketan in Bangalore spent three weeks of intensive time studying the world of ideas and ideals of Fr Joseph Kentenich.

During this time they studied about the image of priesthood according to Fr Kentenich. Fr Johnson Nellissery moderated the course.

Priests, sisters, couples and youth were all invited to share their views about the priesthood in the Indian culture.

The whole team visited the National Center for inculturation (NBCLC) and had talks with the Gurus. The incultured Eucharist and the dance as medium of proclamation of the Word are the specialties of this Center.

Priest – Face of Christ Reality was the title of the paper the students prepared both in group and individually. Each student worked on a particular topic and presented a paper and then had the opportunity to give a sermon on priesthood.
