Tertianship of the Course “Dynamic Instruments of the Shrine for New Life”

Eight young students of the Schoenstatt Fathers will be ready for the Deaconate in a few days time. They have just completed their three month tertianship.

Sahaya Kumar reports what happened in these three months:

“After our regencies and a few days of holidays, we began our tertianship on the 15th of January 2007 under the guidance of Fr. Peter Locher, our Novice Master.

The tertianship had four parts – Evaluation of our regencies before the tertianship, participation in the annual gathering of the Indian Delegation, Studying and personalizing the second milestone of Schoenstatt history and preparation and retreat for our deaconate.

It was the time where all the members of our course could come together after the novitiate and deepen our personal and course-relationships.

It was the time where we could develop a relationship with our founder Fr. Joseph Kentenich.

The evaluation of our regencies in different pastoral areas will help us to know how much we have already started to realize our course ideal to bring up the movement work in India.

After 13 years of our formation, we could say finally ‘Yes’ to the community of the Secular Institute of Schoenstatt Fathers through our final contract consecration on Easter Night.

On 15th of April, our tertianship came to an official end. With hearts full of joy, we sang the Magnificat together with Our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt for the mighty work of God who is present amongst us through His Son and inspires through His Sprit, that He continues to work in our life.

We request your prayers for our deaconate and priestly ordinations as well as for our future pastoral ministry in God’s Vineyard.”
