The Joy of Faithfulness
Again, the Blessed Mother prepared a day of joy and happiness: the first and second groups of the Pilgrim Mother Movement in Kerala renewed their covenant of love with the Blessed Mother. They thanked the Mother for her faithfulness in educating and guiding them and they offered her their own faithfulness in loving and serving her.
A one-day program was organized in Aloor that began at 9.30. Father Johnson Panthappillil inaugurated the session and said a word of welcome. There were two sessions based on the topics "Living with Mary" and "Growth in Covenant of Love" conducted by Brother Jiju and Fr. Johnson Nellissery, respectively. After lunch, time was allotted for confession and adoration. At 3:15 we began the Holy Eucharist in the Shrine followed by the covenant renewal ceremony. Fr. Paulose Chatheli, rector of Kentenich Vidyaniketan Bangalore, was the main celebrant. Approximately sixty pilgrims were present and twenty five pilgrims renewed the covenant.
